Job Summary
Our San Diego, OCP Sales Representative position is responsible for growing our Custom Cable, Wire Harnesses and Subassemblies business for the medical device industry. You will be responsible for meeting the sales goals for your accounts while developing strategies to attract and retain our target customers. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our operations team by ensuring we meet customer expectations for quality and on time delivery.
Main Sales Responsibilities
- Manage your accounts and develop sales projection/forecast that achieve company goals for profitability and growth
- Create and implement business development strategies to attract new target customers
- Build a strong relationship with your customers through pro-active communication, meet agreed upon timelines and responsiveness to inquiries
- Accept and respond to customer quote requests promptly and accurately
- Utilize quote portal and workflows to achieve highest efficiency in communications with suppliers and coworkers
- Stay connected to emerging market trends and leverage that knowledge in your sales strategy
- Main Operational Responsibilities
- Work with external partners to establish pricing, lead times, and components requirements prior to purchasing
- Adhere to all pertinent aspects of OCP ISO- 13485:16 procedure “Contract Review”
- Perform administrative duties essential to moving the order process through the system
- Part Number/BOM/Router entry and maintenance
- Produce and maintain all required product documentation
- Order entry, and maintenance throughout sales cycle as information changes
- Process required ECN, RMA, Customer Complaints as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to travel
- Experience selling in the cable and wire harness manufacturing and assembly industry
- The candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in direct OEM sales
- Experience developing and achieving sales goals
- Preference for Bilingual Communication Skills (English and Spanish)
