Litigation Paralegal – Class Action & Employment Law

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and maintain internal case databases.
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
- Assist attorneys with employment law and class action discovery requests.
- Gather and analyze case-related information from multiple sources.
- Communicate with experts and prepare materials for expert review.
- Facilitate voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation.
- Subpoena records, including medical, billing, employment, and workers’ compensation documents.
- Prepare comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis.
- Summarize written discovery and document productions.
- Conduct background checks, social media investigations, and litigation history research.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent civil litigation experience, specifically in employment law and/or wage & hour class action/PAGA cases.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook, and OneDrive—must be comfortable navigating multiple databases.
- Ability to think critically and make smart decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, experts, and third parties.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Trial preparation and trial support experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documents, court rules, and procedures.
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate or relevant certification preferred.
Additional Information:
- Annual paralegal billable requirement: 1500 hours.
