Job Title: Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of consolidated financial reports (10-K, 10-Q, etc.)
- Collaborate in the consolidation-related controls and reconciliations process
- Support the XBRL/HTML review process for 10-K and 10-Q filings
- Prepare tie-outs for financial reports (10-K and 10-Q)
- Assist in the filing of certain Press Releases with the SEC
- Help prepare GAAP disclosure checklists
- Conduct technical accounting research as needed
- Assist the team with ad-hoc projects and other accounting tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- A minimum of 2.5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or with a large publicly traded company
- Experience working in audit with a Big 4 firm or large public accounting firm with publicly traded clients
- Experience in preparing or reviewing financial statements
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute tasks thoroughly
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general ledger applications
- In-depth knowledge of SOX, COSO standards, and risk assessment practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $90-115K base (depending on experience) + 25% bonus potential
- Equity: ~50k equity offering at the beginning of each year
