What You'll Do as an Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Process cash receipts, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Perform check scanning and prepare bank deposits.
- Create invoices for hotel rebates and other miscellaneous charges.
- Record journal entries for cash receipts and credit card activity.
- Count and verify cash balances.
- Respond to staff and customer inquiries related to accounts receivable.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years in an accounting-related function; cash receipts processing or bank teller experience is a plus!
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, automated accounting systems, and calculator use.
- Compliance: Must pass credit and criminal background checks.
