Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a 100-unit apartment complex in S. Glens Falls. The ideal candidate must have prior experience managing Section 8 housing and a strong background in property operations, compliance, and tenant relations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community, ensuring compliance with HUD and Section 8 regulations.
- Manage leasing, rent collection, and resident relations to maintain high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
- Supervise maintenance and vendor activities to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.
- Handle annual recertifications, inspections, and compliance reporting.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and expense controls.
- Address resident concerns and foster a positive community atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of property management experience, with a focus on affordable housing/Section 8 properties.
- Strong knowledge of HUD guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with property management software and financial reporting.
