Salary: $87,500-108,000K
Additional compensation: uncapped monthly commission, quarterly bonus , monthly auto allowance

Insight Global is currently looking to place a Sales Manager for a large manufacturing client. The Sales Manager will be responsible for new and factory refurbished equipment sales and will be expected to work closely with a peer aftermarket sales representative to provide customer satisfaction to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Call on and sell products directly to customers (end-users), EPC, and through existing distributor partners in the assigned area
- Actively engage in planned prospecting activities (cold calls, in-person and virtual meetings, compressed air system analysis, utilizing in-house lead generating sales tools, etc.)
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and
- Establish rapport by maintaining regular contact with existing and new customers (particularly key accounts).
- Gather and generate engineering data from customers, including various flows and construction facility requirements.
- Analyze engineering data to provide tailored solutions to customers.
- Compile and present proposals based on collected data.
- Utilize technical aptitude to understand and apply engineering terminology
- Function as a project-based sales engineer.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, architecture, and mechanical companies (EPCs).
- Communicate effectively with engineers, procurement teams, and high-level decision-makers.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5+ years of direct industrial equipment sales experience
- Experience in managing project-based tasks and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to compile and present detailed proposals based on customer requirements.
- Ability to understand and apply engineering terminology and concepts.
- Experience using CRM system
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Comfortable with overnight travel requirements to attend company meetings and training as required

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or marketing preferred
- Experience/Knowledge of compressors sales
