A high-tech fabrication company is looking for an Electrical Control Panel Builder in the Aurora, CO area. You will work with our lead electrical panel builder to fabricate industrial control panels in the UL508A panel shop.
You will also be responsible for printing wire labels and terminal block marker cards, following panel layouts and electrical schematics, punching holes in steel electrical enclosures, drilling and tapping DIN Rail and components, routing and terminating wires inside of control panels, assembling field control enclosures, labeling enclosure devices, organizing electrical parts, preparing enclosures and parts for shipping.
Ideal candidates will have experience in panel building of Industrial Enclosures, are detail oriented, focused, able to work at a good pace and sometimes under pressure, and punctual with work hours 6am-2:30pm, M-F. A background check and drug test are required (including marijuana).
Must Have's:
- Experience building Industrial Control panels
- Working Knowledge of Pushbuttons, Beacons, Motor Starters, contactors, relays, 480VAC transformers, disconnects, and motors
- Experience reading Panel Layout Drawings/Electrical Schematics
- Experience Drilling precision holes
- Experience using a Multimeter for point-to-point quality checks
