Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer (Municipal)

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Civil Engineer to lead a diverse range of municipal engineering projects in beautiful Lake Oswego, Oregon. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage and design projects that directly impact local infrastructure, including water and sewer utilities, stormwater management, road design, parks, trails, environmental restoration, and more. As the Engineer of Record for special-purpose districts or City Engineer for municipalities, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering meaningful solutions that shape the community’s future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse municipal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
- Project Management Excellence: Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets. Effectively coordinate with staff, sub-consultants, and clients to drive project success.
- Quality Control: Review designs and production deliverables, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, company policies, and client specifications.
- Team Leadership: Organize and delegate tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and clear communication. Provide constructive performance evaluations and offer mentorship to foster career growth.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a key contact for municipal clients, providing on-call support and expertise in areas such as watershed planning, road design, environmental restoration, and more.
What We’re Looking For:
- BS in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Oregon PE License (Professional Engineer)
- 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with a proven track record in municipal projects.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Deep understanding of municipal engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
