How You'll Make an Impact
- Provides day-to-day administrative support for various people processes (onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, etc.).
- Maintains employee records.
- Provides support for HR policies /procedures and timelines; ensures compliance.
- Coordinates background screening requirements for new employees and as client needs arise.
- Coordinates new employee orientations and other HR training programs as applicable.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Assists with coordination of the performance review process for the company to ensure the process runs smoothly.
- Manages buddy program to help acclimate new hires into the organization.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Draft offer letters and subcontractor onboarding documents.
- Assists with employee immigration cases.
- Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in a related Human Resources role in a professional services firm.
- Internship or professional work experience in a Human Resources role.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
