NOREAS Environmental Services Division (ESD) is looking for self-motivated and professional candidates to fill the position of Industrial Waste Treatment Plant Operator in Training to support the needs of a U.S Navy contract in the San Diego Metro area. Employees are expected to overhaul, repair, adjust, align, rebuild, and install equipment in the system for proper operation and to detect problems before they occur.
Candidates must possess a good knowledge of, and be able to use all types of equipment, tools and measuring devices, portable power tools, grinder, drills, power saws, pipe and hand wrenches, powered abrasive saws, threading machines, concrete drills, hoists, and lubrication equipment in a safe and effective manner.
The position of Operator in Training is a part of the progression towards becoming an Industrial Waste Treatment Plant Operator. The expectation is for the employee to cross-train at the various installations and become a fully qualified operator in 1 year or less. The position of IWTP Operator rotates between day, swing, and night shift and each shift is held for one month.

Annual Salary range: $61,276.00 - $73,361.00
