Job Title: Pipeline Engineer – Natural Gas Systems
About the Role:
We are working with an Oil and Gas firm in Colorado who are looking for a Pipeline Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for evaluating natural gas pipeline systems using advanced hydraulic modeling software, including DNV-GL’s Synergi Gas and Gregg Engineering’s NextGen. Your work will involve capacity optimization, commercial scenario analysis, and design support for pipelines, compressors, and pumps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain hydraulic models for natural gas pipelines.
- Analyze model performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support commercial teams with technical analysis for expansion and acquisition projects.
- Mentor and assist junior engineers in modeling and engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical insights clearly and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 4-12 years of engineering experience, preferably in pipeline systems.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (DNV-GL Synergi Gas, Gregg Engineering NextGen).
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
