Overview
As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, designing, implementing, and supporting industrial control systems and panels used in fuel management applications. Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to create innovative standardized and custom solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on electrical and controls design for new and existing products.
- Program PLCs for OEM equipment.
- Design and develop industrial control panels using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Provide technical support to production, project management, and sales teams.
- Drive innovation through cost-saving initiatives and product enhancement ideas.
- Create system manuals, installation instructions, and detailed documentation.
- Ensure designs meet specifications, budget, and schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience, or 10+ years of equivalent hands-on experience.
- AutoCAD Electrical expertise.
- Knowledge of PLC programming (ladder logic, function block).
- Familiarity with UL Standards and product feasibility/design for manufacturing (DFM).
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UL-508a Standards.
- Proficiency in working with PLCs such as Rockwell (CompactLogix), Siemens, Unitronics, or Wago (Codesys).
