An international life and annuity company is looking to add an ASA or FSA to their ALM & Investments team in Hartford, CT.
Position Overview
The company seeks a Senior Investment Analyst to support asset/liability and balance sheet management. The role involves collaborating with various departments to optimize asset positioning relative to liabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage $45b+ in Assets: Oversee assets in the US, Bermuda, and Cayman.
- Enhance ALM Framework: Improve metrics and processes for optimal asset positioning.
- Liquidity Management: Monitor and improve liquidity processes.
- Strategic Asset Allocation: Provide targets and constraints based on liability characteristics.
- Support New Business: Assist in onboarding new business.
- Develop Applications: Design tools and dashboards for investment analytics.
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years of experience supporting investment or actuarial area
- A strong background in investment and/or actuarial data and analytics
- Familiarity with LDI concepts, especially in the context of insurance liabilities
- Understanding of capital markets, insurance products
