We are representing an industry leading FORTUNE 500 Industrial Manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Lead level Power Distribution Engineer/Electrical Engineer due to a recently announced retirement. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this candidate will be responsible for providing safe, dependable electrical power to the company plants and their equipment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Responsible for the design, estimate, and installation of electrical power and electronic control systems.
- Projects are often followed from design conception through supervision of installation and operator training. The position requires working closely with Maintenance, Production and Engineering Departments.
- Responsible for investigating instrument and control requirements, developing specifications, and recommending the purchase of instruments and controls to provide effective measurement and control of company equipment. He maintains and calibrates instruments and controls.
- Design, develop, and document industrial wiring systems and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize electrical design for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to the design release process, ensuring all electrical design documentation is complete, accurate, and formally approved before production.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to manufacturing and field service teams as needed.
- Experience with up to 13.2 KV
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- 5-10+ years of electrical power distribution experience (13.2 kV)
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, quality standards, and regulations relevant to industrial equipment.
