What You'll Need: - 1+ year(s) of experience in Billing/Collections
- Minimum of High School diploma
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word and Excel is required
- Proficiency in data entry and management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- High level of personal integrity, reliability and honesty
- Ability to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Do: - Ensure incoming calls are answered in a timely manner and properly documented in CPAS
- Assist patients, clinic staff and attorneys with billing and account questions; follow up with clinics as needed
- Make outbound collection calls to patients with delinquent balances
- Work collaboratively with clinic staff, patients and collection agencies
- Arrange payment plans and ensure timely collection of monies
- Maintain established guidelines in regards to productivity and accuracy
- Identify and implement improvements to meet or exceed established goals and objectives
