Mechanical Design Engineer
KAUFMAN Mfg. Co. builds metal-cutting machine tools in northeast Wisconsin. We’re looking for a mechanical design engineer who knows machine tool design and build. It helps if you have the following qualifications:
· BS in mechanical engineering/technology
· 3-5 years’ experience
· Knowledge of metal-cutting machines and manufacturing processes
· Inventor/AutoCAD experience
It’s also good to know or be familiar with any or all of the following:
· Creation and maintenance of bills of materials
· Weldment and sheet metal design
· Machine tending automation
· Experience in gearing design and bearing selection a plus!
We are a family-owned and family-run business approaching our 100th year in operation. KAUFMAN is highly respected in the manufacturing field, specializing in designing and building machines producing high-volume electrical and plumbing fittings and parts for the automotive and energy fields.
