Senior Financial Analyst
Plano, TX - Hybrid, 4 Days Onsite
**CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY BE LOCAL TO THE DALLAS-FORT WORTH AREA**
One of Vaco's PE-backed, highly-acquisitive midmarket clients is looking to onboard a Senior Financial Analyst due to continued growth of the company. The CFO is someone that we have worked extensively with - he gives his people a ton of autonomy to get things done and make decisions without micromanagement. They are looking for candidates that have prior experience partnering with private equity groups (fast-paced, high-volume acquisitions, dynamics operations, etc.)
Looking for someone that has extensive experience in scenario-based financial modeling, both building from scratch and tweaking pre-existing templates, as well as ground-up budgeting and business unit analytics.
Compensation: $100-125K
Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis to measure financial performance, explain variances to budget and forecast along business trends.
- Budgeting, profitability analysis, forecasting and improving inefficiencies.
- Assist with the development of forecast modeling, dashboards.
- Analyze business performance, evaluate KPIs, trends and market condition analysis.
- Collaborate with team to develop enhanced analytics.
- Identify areas for streamlining and process improvement.
- Present and explain findings to executive leadership and across business units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, MBA is a plus.
- Advanced Excel required, Access and major ERP preferred.
- Experience with modeling tools.
- Thorough understanding of P&L, Financial Analysis and business trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work on an evolving team with adaptability and problem solving.
