Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our facilities team. This is your opportunity to work in a collaborative setting where your expertise in heating, ventilation, cooling, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment will help keep our campus running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and kitchen equipment.
- Work with larger systems like chillers, cooling towers, and heat exchangers.
- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment.
- Provide on-the-job training to HVAC Technician I team members.
- Work rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and be on-call 24/7 for university emergencies.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ High School Diploma or equivalent
✔ 3+ years of HVAC experience (5+ years preferred)
✔ EPA certification required
✔ Valid Florida Driver’s License (with no more than three points)
✔ Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, safety procedures, and tools
✔ Ability to lift up to 85 lbs. and work in various environmental conditions
