An international Infrastructure & Renewables Private Capital Fund is looking to expand at the Associate, VP and Principal level in New York due to its strong level of deal flow across the region.
This fund has an established team and portfolio dedicated to the Power, Infrastructure, Renewables and Transition space while investing on behalf of its extensive institutional base of clients.. The firm is managing an AUM of nearly $3bn and is well positioned globally so you will be within a team that exposes you to projects across the world while being at the forefront of driving innovation within the industry by emphasizing early-stage development across the industry.
Candidate responsibilities:
- Reviewing potential investment opportunities and the execution of live projects
- Constructing appropriate deal structures to minimize risk
- Researching and drafting investment memoranda, pitches and presenting recommendations to appropriate external or internal parties
- Monitoring of the fund’s portfolio to maintain a certain level of strategic growth
- Supporting the management and development of the junior team
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree, and/or an MBA from a top ranked institution
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking and/or Investment Management
- Expertise in the Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Renewables and Transition sector is essential
- Financial modeling and valuation expertise is crucial
- Track record in supporting or leading origination activities
- High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple live projects and work towards strict deadlines
- Team player mentality and the ability to operate independently
