RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design and development of new energetic materials and formulations, considering factors like stability, performance, and safety.
- Oversee technical aspects of projects, including materials selection, process optimization, and testing methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in energetics engineering.
- Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative work environment focused on safety and quality.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Conduct safety reviews and hazard analysis for new product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to energetic materials handling and disposal.
- Strong understanding of the principles of energetic materials, including chemistry, physics, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field with a focus on energetics
- Proven experience in the energetics industry, including product development, testing, and manufacturing
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in working with hazardous materials and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
