You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive estate plans that include wills, trusts, and end-of-life directives. You will also provide legal advice to clients regarding their estate planning needs, tax implications, and other relevant matters. Job Responsibilities include:
• Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
• Advising clients in matters related to estate planning, tax planning, and probate
• Researching and interpreting laws, rules, and regulations related to estate planning
• Working with clients to develop a comprehensive estate plan that meets their individual needs
• Reviewing and updating existing estate plans
• Providing guidance to trustees, executors, and beneficiaries
• Facilitating the transfer of assets and other property
• Representing clients in cases involving guardianship and conservatorship
• Consulting with financial advisors and other professionals on estate planning matters
Job Requirements are:
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in PA and in good standing, NJ a plus
• 3+ years of experience in estate planning
• Fluency in estate planning principles and laws and/or willing to learn
• Strong research and writing skills
•Ability to meet deadlines and utilize case management system, Action Step
• Ability to interpret and explain complex legal documents
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of fiduciary accounting practices
• Experience in drafting and negotiating trust agreements or ability to learn
• Knowledge of / commitment to learn tax laws as they relate to estates and trusts
• Ability to assess client's personal and financial situation and form a plan accordingly
Pay range based upon experience is $75,000 - $90,000.
