Summary
JOB SUMMARY
The Hospice RN Team Leader possesses thorough knowledge of end of life care and is responsible to stay abreast of current trends and standards. The RN Team Leader is a resource and mentor to the staff. The RN Team Leader's conduct reflects both the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospice. Under general supervision, the RN Team Leader provides administrative support, ensures excellence in clinical practice, performance management, and education related competencies for assigned area. Facilities interdisciplinary care for patients/families to ensure the highest quality care and services. Provides direct patient care as needed. Embraces transparency, a participative leadership style and a positive approach to change. Utilizes evidence based practice. Promotes teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS
- Required Associate's Degree
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- 4-7 years A minimum of 6 years nursing experience required; previous leadership experience preferred. Required
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication skills required, Ability to direct an interdisciplinary team. Strong customer service and team management skills required, Strong prioritization, organizational, and critical thinking skills required.
