Job Summary
Performs all department EEG procedures as well as assists management in technical accountability of services. Demonstrates competence in at least one additional area of Electroneurodiagnostics: Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction Studies, Polysomnography, Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring, Long Term EEG Monitoring, and/or EMU.

Essential Functions
Performs routine and complex EEG procedures according to laboratory standards, including portable, cerebral death, and sleep-deprived, etc.
Adheres to standards of practice for electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings.
Able to identify and correct basic equipment problems when they occur.
Performs EEG procedures using appropriate test strategy, montages, and filters, including the archive and transfer of records.
Adopts method and instrumentation to obtain optimal results based on history, clinical observations, and findings.

Minimum Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from an accredited school of Electroneurodiagnostics (END) strongly preferred.
Registered/certified in a Electroneurodiagnostics field.
Demonstrate competence in at least one additional area of Electroneurodiagnostics: Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conduction Studies, Polysomnography, Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring, Long Term EEG Monitoring, and/or EMG.
Two - Three years of experience in EEG preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
