Great opportunity to make a difference with Gulfstream. The Enterprise QA/Reg SMS Prog Mgr is a newly created role within the organization to build out and enhance our Safety Management System. We are looking for an expert in SMS to facilitate the development of our Safety Management Systems. The objective will be for this individual to assist the existing regulatory and safety teams in establishing the SMS as well as develop and implement the IT system that will support the requirements of SMS.

Must have experience working with a SMS software system including acquisition, incorporation into a company's IT structure, development, testing, rollout, and go-live

Software experience must also include formatting to meet the specific needs of the company using it

Must have experience formatting and pulling reports from the software system and the ability to present the appropriate data from those reports to all levels of the company including the senior leadership team

Experience in the development and presentation of training material that supports SMS principles and the software system

Must have experience with MS Office products

Experience in integrating software systems is desirable

Ability to lead and collaborate with all business partners, customers and regulatory authorities

Experience managing a compliance oversight programto ensure an effective SMS program
Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 10 years related experience. Other Project Management preferred.
Position Purpose:This position will lead Gulfstream's effort to implement a Safety Management System (SMS) that meets the Federal Aviation Administration regulatory requirements. To coordinate with the existing regulatory, quality, and safety teams in establishing the SMS and lead efforts to automate management of processes that will support system requirements
Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Lead a company-wide analysis of safety teams, policies, systems and processes to determine SMS capability needs .
Responsible for acquiring, configuring, implementing and ensuring timely updates to a supporting SMS software system . Develop a compliant SMS management program and routine reporting methods to identify trends and necessary risk controls . Collaborate with business unit management and teams to produce a consistent end quality SMS product . Continually review and improve safety policies, procedures, processes to ensure compliance with FAA SMS regulations . Develop, plan, and conduct of training and resources that support SMS principles and the software system . Facilitate and manage SMS review board meetings . Additional Functions:
- SMS budget administration .
SMS compliance reporting (company-wide, up to executive level) . SMS consultation (company-wide, up to executive level) . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of SMS principles.

Ability to lead change across the enterprise for all aspects of Gulfstream's SMS (Production, Completions, Repair Stations). Ensure compliance oversight program is effective for providing a compliant SMS.
