Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to / from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details / clinical information. It's a fast paced, high-volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life - saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.
Office Location: 4100 S. Saginaw Street, Flint, MI
Primary Responsibilities: - Verify appropriate and accurate patient information
- Enter prescription data into pharmacy system
- Contact patients, pharmacists, and providers to resolve issues
- Other assignments and projects as needed
- Maintain proficiency and quality as standardized by the department

Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of employment without restrictions
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or NHA)
- 1+ years of pharmacy prescription processing experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with computer navigation and Microsoft programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Must be flexible to work between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM Monday through Friday. Shift will be consistent once determined. Overtime may be required on weekdays and weekends as needed
- Must be available to work a permanent weekend shift to meet business needs
Preferred Qualifications: - Specialty pharmacy experience
