3NW is a 28 bed medical-surgical unit that takes care of wide variety of patients. We provide training for medical-surgical, Telemetry, Bariatrics & Neurosurgery. You will have National certification opportunities for both medical-surgical and Bariatrics. Our Bariatric program in partnership with the Journey Clinic for all weight loss care is Nationally Certified through the Joint Commission. We care for patients throughout their entire weight loss journey and beyond. We work with interdisciplinary team of medical professionals for the complete patient care.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates the nursing services of a single department by leading, directing and collaborating within the interdisciplinary care team.
- Serves as department leader alongside and in absences of Nurse Manager.
- Manages the patient flow process.
RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care
- Evaluating responses to interventions
- Performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- One year experience as a Registered Nurse required.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license or active Multistate RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- ACLS is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
