Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of the facility, including plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Assist in the upkeep of the community's common areas, grounds, and individual living units to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and effectively, with attention to quality and detail.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute facility improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and planting to ensure the community's outdoor areas are well-maintained and visually appealing.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering and conservation practices.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address any landscape-related issues or concerns promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces, reporting any safety hazards or necessary repairs.
- Support the maintenance team in performing general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including light carpentry, painting, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- A genuine interest in serving and engaging with senior residents.
Compensation details: 18-21 Hourly Wage
