ID: Shift: 12H Nights Description: Unit Notes: 24 bed unit with a 1:3/4 Ratio depends on acuity Patient population: Dysrhythmias, Cardiopulmonary, Sepsis, high flow O2 needs, and behavior patients needing IV drip medications We have an educator on our unit that works very close with staff Type of medication drips: dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amio, dobutamine, Nicardine Could work up to every other weekend Throughput is high as expected with all step down unitsThis is for our fast paced 24 bed step down unit which is very productive with high acuity patients. Cancellation may cancel up to 2 shifts without penalty for assignments of 12 weeks or less and up to 3 shifts without penalty for assignments of 13 weeks or longer.
