As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm AZ
Location: Remote, with 3rd Wednesday each month being onsite at 1 East Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ
If you reside in Phoenix, AZ, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with clinical pharmacists
- Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a clinical pharmacist when appropriate
- Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
- Document and track member engagement

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
- Experience with Part D claims adjudication
