Vital signs machine, glucometer, SCDs, bladder scanner, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo), and oxygen delivery devices including CPAP and BiPAP. Have phlebotomy service but encourage own IV starts and blood draws. Responsible for own 12 lead EKGs (PCTs will assist). Drips include but are not limited to Cardizem, NTG, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Argatroban, Milrinone Heparin, Amiodarone.Additional Unit Specific Information: Very team-oriented staff. Work to keep charge out to the numbers to assist all staff. Comment: Facility is no longer accepting candidates within a 50-mile radius. Anything sent after, will not be approved Position Description: Cardiac Surgical Stepdown - IMCU/ Stepdown RN with Tele, Cardiology, or cardiac surgery experience highly preferred. Shift is 12H Rotating. Every other weekend, every other holiday required, No on-call. IMC surgical nursing- cardiology or cardiac surgery experience preferred. Epic EMR.Required Upon Submission: 2+ years of experience required, prior travel preferred. Certifications Required: BLS required, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Submission Packet must show # of beds, Trauma Level and EMR on their Work History or they will be dropped. MD/compact license is required for all submissions to be active, visible through nursys.
