POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a production testing technician. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various testing methods to verify quality of product in process of manufacturing. You will ensure that our products meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements before they are shipped to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct setups and load materials in order to perform production operations
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality production
- Perform testing to ensure that product is free from any leaks or defects.
- Perform calibration of testing equipment, as needed.
- Perform quality inspections on manufactured products to ensure that they meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously improve quality control processes and procedures to improve product reliability and safety.
- Document all test results and inspections in accordance with company policies and procedures.

- Keep work area clean and organized, and maintain equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively with all levels of the organization in both verbal and written forms.
- Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining or manufacturing is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC machines is a plus
- Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with others, and strong attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects and deviations.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and other quality improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Familiarity with ISO and other quality management systems.
- Must be willing to travel.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES ARE A PLUS:
- Assembly/fabrication equipment operation (2+ years)
- Experience in precision machining and assembly (2+ years)
- Experience in data analytics in Excel
- Experience in six sigma/lean methodologies
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- PLC and HMI diagnostic/repair experience is a plus (2+ years).
- Experience in fabrication and CNC equipment programming is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS/LISCENCES: Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 45 days of hire. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires the operator to perform the following:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive motions with the hands/wrists/arms.
- Bending, twisting, and reaching to access the materials and machine components.
- Pushing or pulling heavy carts or dollies.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, and stooping to perform maintenance or adjustments to equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This role will require willingness to work in an environment:
- noisy and dusty environment
