Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors, PCU s, Cardiac floors, Rehab, BHH, PACU, and our inpatient holding space for ED. Candidates will not float to the ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary. Current travel Per Diem clinicians at Novant Health or New Hanover are ineligible for travel assignments. Working both simultaneously is not accepted. Clinicians must select either travel Per Diem or a Travel Contract. Anything more requires facility approval. Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 holidays. Holiday dates include: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, and New Year s Day - with a cap of up to 3 consecutive days including the holiday during holiday week.
