Primary Responsibilities: - Assists pharmacists in various pharmaceutical activities to include the preparation and distribution of medications; compounding sterile pharmaceuticals and extemporaneous compounds; maintenance of drug inventory and patient/financial records
- Maintains pharmacy data and inventory systems
- Monitors expiration dates of pharmaceuticals; determines re-order levels; directs proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and disposal or return of outdated stock to manufacturers for credit or exchange
- Verifies accuracy of medication shipments and resolves vendor-related problems

Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of New Mexico
- Must be Sterile Prep certified
- 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency
