Swope Nissan, a leading automotive dealership in Elizabethtown, KY, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Product Specialist to join our team. As an Automotive Product Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and educating our customers about the features and benefits of our vehicles.
We are part of the Swope Swope Family of Dealerships with locations throughout the Hardin County area. Swope has been in the Hardin County area for 70 years. - Interact with customers to help guide them in their vehicle purchase, asking questions and listening carefully.
- Proactively consult and guide customers to the appropriate next step in the sales process, i.e.vehicle appraisal process, test drives, finance applications and service. Describe all optional equipment and accessories available for customer purchase, explain in detail product features and benefits.
- Use outstanding communication and listening skills to help negotiate terms that ensure payment options meet your customers' lifestyles, budgets, and expectations; close the deal.
- Deliver a minimum number of vehicles each month.
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience, driving loyalty by regularly following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Help transition customers to our Service departments to support their ownership experience, selling the quality and convenience of service repairs and/or aftermarket parts and accessories available in the service departments.
- Assist in maintenance of inventory display and organization of all keys to keep the customer experience as smooth as possible.
- Complete training with manufacturer to become a Certified Product Specialist.
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Drive to set targeted personal income goals consistent with company standards of productivity.
- Proven ability to exceed established automotive sales and customer service goals.
- Excellent communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong telephone and technology skills. Including; computers, smart phones, and social media.
- The willingness to follow up, and follow-up again, with customers.
- Strong desire and aptitude for continuing growth opportunities. Willingness to follow assigned word tracks & techniques as demonstrated in both training sessions and customer interaction.
- Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
- All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
