As Plastipak’s Project Manager, dedicated to our Blow Molding Platform, you oversee and manage projects for blow-molding technology development, manufacturing, and deployment. It’s an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance our innovative technology.
You Will:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team cohesion.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements. Manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization throughout the duration of the project.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
- Partner with internal quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree on Engineering, Chemistry, Packaging, or a related field
- Demonstrated success as a project manager. This includes large-scale, highly complex projects with multiple interdependences. Success is defined as meeting project objectives on time and within budget.
- A minimum of five (5) years in the packaging industry within R&D
- Expert-level plastics packaging material science knowledge, particularly regarding blow molding and injection molding manufactured products
- Proficiency with Project Management tools and software, preferably, Microsoft Projects, Teams, and Smartsheet.
- Working knowledge regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to products made from post-consumer material.
