RESPONSIBILITIES:
Neuro Nurses (RN) treat patients with neurological injuries and disorders, including head and spinal trauma from accidents, or illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, epilepsy , and multiple sclerosis. Neuro RN j ob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- P erform typical procedures to help patients recover behavioral, physical, and cognitive abilitie s
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Neuro RN exhibit a h i gh level of patience and sensitivity, as patients mentally function on different levels
