No, need to have completed at least 1 travel assignmentPatient , Respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, bipap, CVA overflow, post-cath patients - will see TR bands and the femoral approach; can see femoral sheaths but travelers will not pull themSome surgical patients vascular, abdominal, GI, etc.Drips: diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin requiredPatient Ratios:o ICU: Typically 2:1, sometimes 1:1 depending on patient acuityo 2NW or Tele: 4:1 during the day BLSSkills required: Experience with above patient typesChest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheathsPreferred - Art lineICU experience preferredSupport on the : 1:6 for days, 1:10 for nightsReceptionist/HUC: Charge nurse: No assignment but oversees ICU as well and will respond to codes and RRTPhlebotomy: 24/7 for peripheral lab drawsIV/VAT Team? Hospitalist? On site 24/7Telemetry monitoring tech? Telemetry tech 24/7.
