GTG Peterbilt is seeking a Certified Diesel Technician to join their team in Great Bend, KS. This position involves servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks of all makes and models. Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine unit condition
- Perform service and repairs on equipment and vehicles
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and repairs
- Complete engine overhauls and other necessary repairs
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with general shop duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Certifications from OEM's in the trucking industry
- 2-5 years of actual truck or heavy equipment repair experience
- Valid driver's license and be insurable. CDL preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Own toolbox and tools required
- Steel toe shoes or boots needed
