JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Join a well-established Family Medicine residency program aimed at creating the next generation of Family Medicine physicians to support the most rural of communities. The Family Medicine Residency Program provides outpatient, inpatient, obstetric and long-term care to patients in the, MN community. Train the program s family medicine residents through modeling professionalism, leadership, and excellence in patient care.
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Teach and train resident physicians and medical students while providing high quality, evidence-based care for patients
- Foster a life-long learning attitude that supports resident well-being
- Develop and deliver an engaging learning environment
- Demonstrate a strong interest in educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas
- Provide didactic lectures
- Serve as a resident advisor
- Participate in scholarly and research activities
- Actively participate in faculty development activities and other academic administration committees
- Evaluate residents using ACGME Family Medicine Milestones evaluations and direct observation
- Maintain your own clinical family medicine practice
- Participate in the residency recruitment process
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director to promote success of the residency program

REQUIREMENTS
- ABFM certified and licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota
- Demonstrated interest in educating residents, medical and/or health science students
