We're looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join us at Marvin in Baker City. Your typical day will be fast paced working alongside other employees with a focus on electrical work that keeps our machines and processes running.
This role offers a 4-10's schedule working Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30pm giving you a 3-day weekend all the time! Marvin offers competitive pay, $36.90 - $50.05/hour Depending on Experience and Qualifications, as well as full benefits starting Day 1 and ample Paid Time off. This position is supported by our Maintenance Supervisor, and works closely with other electricians, production workers, and maintenance team.
Highlights of your role:
- As our electrician you will communicate customer needs to maintenance and supporting departments and external customers in a positive manner with all plant electrical needs.
- Supporting and installing power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.
- Working on repairs or replacing faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards, broken wire, or motor bearings.
Salary Range: $36.90 - $50.05 You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Creative problem solving and ability to work independently.
- An understanding of facility electrical systems.
- Can work in tight spaces, awkward positions and at elevations on ladders or aerial lift platforms to run wiring and remove old wiring.

- Current Oregon journeyman's electrical license
- Excellent Safe work habits and ability to always maintain good housekeeping.
- Must be able/willing to attend, learn, and train fellow employees as time and tasks warrant.
