A Sr Software Engineers in this group will help guide the creation, installation, and support for systems in our attractions. We work closely with internal partners to deliver world-class guest experiences with interactive systems across Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. You will report to Team Lead, Attractions Operational Technology, DataOps.
This is a full-time role.
What You Will DoDesign, develop or update several next-generation proprietary Disney software packages used by interal Disney partners.
Capture software design requirements from our internal Disney partners.
Support the developed software when issues arise.
Create documentations for the developed software.
Explain technical solutions in simple terms for our partners and executives.
Required Qualifications & Skills5+ years of VB.Net & C# with .NET Framework version 4.8 and higher.
Knowledge of Software Development Life cycle and QA processes.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software Design Patterns.
Experience with revision control software, such as GitHub and GitLab.
Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Basic Experience with Docker commands.
2+ years experience in relational databases like SQL server and, MSQL.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Service NOW.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technology, such as Docker.
Experience with OPC DA and UA.
Fundamental Networking experience.
Knowledge of Web API.
Experience with Programmable Logic controller (PLC).
Experience with Atlassian Tools such as Jira & Confluence.
Experience with Linux operating system.
Experience with Agile development methods.
Experience with automated testing.
Experience with Grafan.
EducationBachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
Preferred: Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
