IAM is seeking a qualified individual to provide crucial access management and operational support for multiple enterprise systems. This person will fulfill daily access management responsibilities by managing RBAC roles for end-user access to enterprise applications, and do so with an operational excellence mindset, to ensure exceptional quality and timeliness while striving to drive improvements within our processes and tools.
The Role
As a role engineering associate, you will work within an established team to provide role administration support to the internal end-user community. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting roles within the access management system. You will need to be able to look at the “bigger picture” to ensure the right level of access exists at all times to ensure accounts and systems stay secure. As a role engineering associate, you will have expert-level knowledge of IAM Roles Engineering processes, and extended subject matter expertise across our broader suite of applications. A common day in this role would include checking and validation of requests for role creation, modification, and removal, managing a change process for role changes, coordination of access provisioning activities with provisioning teams, and consulting business groups on role configurations. You will also look for ways to improve team processes and help out where needed within the team.
Responsibilities
Act as a key subject matter expert for IAM Roles Engineering processes, and extended subject matter expertise across our broader suite of applications
Administer roles by creating, maintaining and removing User Access rights based on authorized requests received through internal requests tools, in accordance with established procedures and within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
Respond to internal customer inquiries while providing outstanding customer service
Responsible for cross-training junior team members and non-associate staff
Effectively manage priorities, communicate progress and raise impediments as needed
Responsible for maintaining and updating operational procedural documentation
Ability and effectively work independently to meet daily workload assignments
Use knowledge of processes and procedures to identify and offer ways to make improvements within the team
Ability to work independently as part of a virtual team
Successfully deliver on all Key Performance Indicators
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in Identity and Access Management
At least 1 years of experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management
1+ years of experience with Change Control processes
1+ year of experience with SQL
1+ year of experience in Agile
1+ year of experience in Cyber Security or Risk Management
1+ year of experience in Active Directory
