Clean Harbors, Norwell, MA is seeking a Supply Planner (internally known as Demand Planner) to develop and execute supply plans that enable the company to provide optimal service levels to our customers. The Supply Planner will be responsible for managing inventory supply levels for a given service. Planning will include coordination with procurement, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, branch operations, and sales.

- Utilize MRP principles to monitor inventory levels, aiming to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess or shortages.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain clear communication on production goals and challenges.
- Monitor and reconcile invoices for accuracy in pricing and quantities, coordinating with Accounts Payable and vendors to ensure timely payments and avoid potential credit holds or supply shortages.
- Implement and manage materials planning strategies to optimize production flow and resource utilization.
- Generate reports on inventory, production, and procurement metrics to inform decision-making.
- Identify areas for improvement in the material management process and production planning process, suggest strategies for enhancement.
- Familiarity with the basic principles of production planning and the ability to create schedules that align with operational goals.
- Willingness to learn and apply fundamental scheduling techniques to adapt to changes in production needs and customer demand.
- 3+ years of Supply Chain or Business Analytics experience required;
- Demonstrated ability to generate supply plans required;
- ERP systems/Planning software experience required;
- Excel and PowerPoint skills required;
- Experience presenting to all levels of management required;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required;
- Bachelor’s Degree required;
- Master’s Degree preferred;
- SQL experience preferred;
- PowerBi experience preferred;
- APICS certification preferred;
- Must have the ability to travel 5%.
