Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery Locums Job in Northern Louisiana Jackson + Coker is partnered with a facility located in northern Louisiana that needs intermittent CT Surgery call coverage support starting this year. The client doesn't currently have specific dates they're trying to fill but would like to be connected with CT Surgeons that have flexibility in their schedules and that can help with a weekend and/or extended weekend a few times each quarter. Do you have a flexible work schedule and desire to pick up some weekend/extended weekend coverage throughout 2024 and 2025? Coverage Details for Assignment : Board Certification + active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license & DEA required Willing to consider candidates that are actively enrolled with the IMLC Covering CVT (Cardiovascular & Thoracic) Surgery service line 100% 24-hour call coverage only - no clinic/outpatient coverage needs General coverage needs are Friday at 7AM Monday at 7AM; Will at times have vacation needs & extended weekends (Thursday AM Monday AM and/or Thursday AM - Tuesday AM) Facility cancels clinic when using locums coverage, however, the locums surgeon may need to look at a post op patient s incision occasionally when covering weekday shifts Will be completing daily patient rounding (on attached & unattached patients) + covering the ED for new consults/emergent cases No weekend mid-level support (provider is available by phone however) Hospital details: 290+ bed facility, Level II Trauma Designation, Epic EMR Jackson + Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Single Point of Co
