About the Position
Join the Transdev team as Fleet Maintenance Manager. The maintenance manager will supervise the maintenance and repair of buses and support vehicles according to contract requirements. We hire individuals who make safety and customer service their top priorities. We are looking for you if you have the drive, confidence, and determination to succeed! The salary range for this opportunity is $105k-$130K (DOE).
- Schedules and administers fleet maintenance and assists in troubleshooting problems with vehicles and equipment.
- Communicates availability of vehicles for service with dispatchers and the operations department.
- In relation to subordinates, is responsible for employment decisions, training, and development; planning and directing the work; disciplining; handling employee complaints or grievances; and handling performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Technical training preferred
- Valid CA CDL B w/Passenger endorsement
- 5 years of hands-on mechanical supervisory experience
- Direct automotive, diesel, or alternative fuel repair experience
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
