Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/LPN the CNA assists with nursing care for the pediatric, adolescent, Adult/Geriatric patients/residents, participates in patient/resident and family teaching and works in cooperation with ancillary nursing staff to maintain the standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. CPR required.
EDUCATION:
1. A. High school diploma or GED preferred or proof of status as a student in a school of nursing.
B. Must have a current State of Michigan Registry document or must have successfully completed the State of Michigan approved Nurse Aide Training Program and be eligible to take the State of Michigan Nurse Aide examination to become certified . Testing must be completed within 4 months of hire.
