Job Responsibilities/Duties
We are looking to make an addition to our Human Resources team by hiring a full-time recruiter. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing strong relationships with managers while providing creative solutions for staffing issues across all McCurley Dealerships.
Responsibilities will include:
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Work with your manager to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s staffing needs, including sourcing candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, industry events and networking.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct the initial screening before candidates get to the managers. Review resumes and applications through ADP to filter out applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for each position. Reach out to references to verify that the applicant is qualified and information on their application is true.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with the hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements, provide guidance on job ads and monitor applicant tracking system through ADP.
- Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication, transparency, and professionalism at every stage.
- Employer Branding: Work closely with the marketing department to actively promote the company’s mission statement to attract top talent, internally and externally, through compelling messaging, employer branding initiatives and participation in industry events.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up to date recruitment data, including retention and turnover analytics, interview, and applicant feedback, as well as regular reports to track recruitment KPIs. Consistently looking for areas of improvement.
- Compliance: Work alongside your manager to ensure that all job ads and recruitment practices stay compliant with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Attend Job Fairs and Community Events: Represent the organization alongside our VPs at job fairs, career expos and community events. Responsible for setting up recruitment booths, ensuring all materials and resources are readily available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field or work experience in lieu of education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with managers of various departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in HR or recruitment (SHRM-CP, Linkedin Recruiter Certification, etc.)
