Job Summary:
The SAP Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for implementing and enhancing the organization’s SAP modules focused on Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM) and Plant Maintenance (PM). This individual will configure, support, and optimize the SAP systems within these functional areas to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the business. The SAP Supply Chain Analyst is paramount in the Company’s pursuit of operational excellence, aiming to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and facilitate continuous improvement.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
· Analyzes business requirements and works with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and implement Advanced Business Application Programing (ABAP) and Fiori based solutions in the areas of MM, PP, WM, and PM.
· Reviews and enhances Supply Chain processes using SAP, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to optimize material flow, production planning, quality control, warehouse operations, and plant maintenance.
· Assists with SAP system implementation projects, ensuring successful deployment and integration of SAP modules related to Supply Chain processes.
· Communicates project statuses, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and ensures timely completion of tasks.
· Provides training and support to end-users in utilizing SAP functionalities effectively, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless system operation.
· Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material management, production planning, quality control, warehouse efficiency, and plant maintenance.
· Facilitates training sessions to educate end-users on the effective use of the Production Planning, WM, QM, and PM functionalities.
· Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, training materials, functional specifications, and user guides for SAP modules within the supply chain domain.
· Enhances and maintains Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) connections with external partners, ensuring smooth data exchange.
· Leads and executes the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
· Maintains a robust awareness of SAP technology advancements and concurrent industry trends, astutely advocating for innovative solutions that confer a competitive advantage.
· Ensures SAP systems adhere to data security and compliance requirements, implementing necessary controls and measures.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
· Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of integration points between SAP modules.
· Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables for enterprise-wide implementation projects.
· Experienced in end-to-end management of EDI processes, including monitoring, and troubleshooting.
· Thorough knowledge with other SAP modules, including finance, procure to pay, order to cash, and warehouse management.
· Prior experience with designing, managing, and configuring interfaces within SAP utilizing MM, PP, QM, WM, and PM modules and the ability to provide support to business users.
· Ability to collaborate with other SAP functional consultants to ensure seamless integration between various modules of SAP.
· Proficient with MS Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.), SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP).
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Over 10 years of experience with SAP modules including MM, PP, QM, WM, and PM is required.
· Experience with SAP Fiori applications and user experience enhancements in SAP S/4Hana.
· Strong experience in SAP MM, PP, QM, PM configuration, including master data, production orders, work centers, bill of materials (BOM), routing, shop-floor controls, quality inspection plans, maintenance plans, and notifications.
· Prior work experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, or Retail is preferred.
· Possessing certifications in SAP or SAP S/4Hana related to the specified modules is desired.
· Proven track record of optimizing logistics and supply chain operations.
Working Conditions:
· Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers.
· The noise level of the environment is usually moderate.
· Sedentary position with seldom to occasional lifting of less than 10 pounds.
· May require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.
· Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
