Full Time Nights 7pm-7am with alternating weekends and holidays

Job Summary and Qualifications

You will assume responsibility for the leadership of the Nursing Department during non-business hours. You will facilitate management of staffing and patient flow functions to assure safe and appropriate patient placement.
What qualifications you will need:
- Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse, required.
- Current Basic Life Support(BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR, required
- NIH Stroke Survey Certification course within 90 days
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS)within90 days
- Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam, preferred.
- 2 years' experience, required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.

- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including, but not limited to, administering treatments and medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others
- Ability to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize
- Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate with other health care providers
- Ability to educate patients and/or significant others
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Possess personal computer skills
