YesPatient take patient 10+ years old confirm comfortability during interview (PALS not required)Posting could be for strictly MedSurg RN or ICU/MedSurg would need to be comfortable taking all patients on unitDiagnoses include, but not limited to: ICU: DKA insulin drips; Cardiac dysrhythmias on Cardiac drips, Respiratory Failure (ventilators, Bipap, HFNC), post-op hemicolectomies (24-48 hr observation), any complex abdominal surgeries, acute or declining COVID+, GI Bleeds, Sepsis, Complicated Post-operative Patients, ETOH, IVDA, CVA s patients in need of intervention are transferred; Trauma, Neuro, major cardiothoracic will typically be stabilized and transferred outMed/Tele: COPD, PNA, COVID, CHF, Sepsis, DVT, PE, AKI, uncontrolled DM, ETOH, IVDA, post-op total joints, CVA, patients awaiting placement, 1:1 for suicidal ideation or 1:1 dementia/aggression patients; Surgical patients include: total joints, abdominal, hysterectomy, colorectal, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, podiatryPatient : RN: Day Night - 1:3; based on acuityTech: Day Night - 1:10Med/Tele:RN: Day Night - 1:6; based on acuityTech: Day Night - 1:10Required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSSMed Tele: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSSkills : Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacityCritical care drips, cardiac/insulin drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, Vent management, epidural management (will manage medication Anesthesia available as resource), invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, trach management (preferred), wound careMed/Tele: Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacityTele RN with ACLS, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, PIV starts, central line management, PCA pumps, drains, ostomies, IV ABX, blood products, wound care, chest tubes, epidural management (will manage medication Anesthesia available as resource); Experience with spinal surgical patients (preferred)Positivity is key in this unit. Unit is close knit and fast paced!Support on the nurse: full patient assignmentPhlebotomy? Will draw peripheral labs onlyIV/VAT Team?
